About the Saskatchewan SPCA

Established in 1928, the Saskatchewan SPCA is an animal welfare organization working to build safer, healthier communities for both humans and animals.

We work with community partners to prevent animal cruelty and raise awareness of “The Link” between all types of violence (domestic, child, elder, and animal abuse).

Our program areas include pet safekeeping, a registration program for animal rescues, financial support for retired police dogs, humane education, and advocacy for improved animal welfare legislation.
